The book contains a presentation note by the author tipped in and reading: " Charlton Yarnall, with my best E. B. White". Contains black and white illustrations by Garth Williams. Complete with price clipped dust jacket. Original buff cloth boards with black spider illustration title on the front cover. Lightly darkened spine. Blue spider illustration on the front free pages. Tipped in authors presentation note facing the title page. The contents are clean and tidy. The dust jacket has wear along the edges with light chipping on the corners and edges. Tiny hole on the rear fold. Repaired tear on the spine. 1-2cm tear on the top edge of the spine with fold on the top edge. Lightly darkened spine. Few marks on the rear cover.
