Rare autograph note signed and dated by Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier, "Le Corbusier 19 Nov 59." In fine condition. Double matted and framed with a photographic portrait of Le Corbusier. The entire piece measures 17.25 inches by 16.25 inches. A pioneer in modern architecture, Swiss-French architect and designer Charles-à douard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, was a founding member of the Congràs International d'Architecture Moderne (CIAM) and dedicated his career to developing better living conditions for the residents of crowded cities. In 2016, seventeen of Le Corbusier's projects in seven countries were inscribed in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites as "The Architectural Work of Le Corbusier, an Outstanding Contribution to the Modern Movement.".
