Stated First Printing. signed by the author on the first free endpaper. Ex-Library Brunswick Pubic Library Association with the usual marking. # 709 of an unstated number of copies. The book is bound in brown cloth with the title and author in gilt on the spine. The gilt is worn and there is a 5" closed tear in the cloth covering the back joint and a .5 inch closed tear on the cloth of the front hinge near the head. Corners are lightly bumped. The binding is square and firm. Pages are clean, smooth and unmarked. Eleven stories of fly fishing in the great Maine outdoors of the Upper Kennebec. The author was a Congregational Church minister and avid outdoorsman whose stories were first published in Field and Stream magazine in the 1920's and 30's.181 pages including a list of locations where the stories took place.
