This copy is inscribed by the author, "To my friend Melville D. Weingarten." who was a prominent New Yorker. In Who's Who in Ameircan Jewry volume 3, 1938-9, page 1118, it states: Weingarten, Melville, David, stockbroker, born New York City May 13, 1890. .V. Pres. Weingarten & Co.".
