His service made him a world traveler. He spent time with Gandhi and Tagore, and the poet gave the bishop a poem, "The Babe" -- here published for the time as Chapter X. SIGNED by the author with brief inscription dated 1951 on the front free endpaper. Red cloth with white lettering on spine, viii, 257 pp., 9 photos, unclipped illustrated jacket. Light wear at ends of spine, clean text, tight binding, jacket has a small top edge tear on front and rear panels.
