Signed by the author to the half title.As part of the War Biography Series, which has seven volumes. This volume is nicknamed 'Peace Biography Vol 1'.With monochrome illustrations, mostly from photographs, throughout the text. In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. Some very slight wear to the edges of the dust wrapper. There is slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean. Fine.
