First edition, first print. Flat-signed to the dedication page in black ink by the author. The book is in very good condition. Firm and square, with sharp corners, sharp boards, spine foot still largely firm, spine tip still firm; no marks to the text block which remains largely without toning, internally unmarked with no tears or dog-eared pages, book does not appear to have been read; the main issue is a crease to the bottom corner of the front free endpaper and a light diagonal crease across the same page, as well as a production fault: the bottom left-hand corner of the front pastedown endpaper has been folded under the endpaper at the time of printing. Otherwise, this book is in lovely condition. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and displays full colour to the spine. Some rippling to the top edge, otherwise fine.
