G. Wells, follows a bored young man who discovers he can levitate. He flies himself to a terrifying dictator reminiscent of Hitler, and with the dictator discusses the fate of the world.Michael Harrison was the pseudonym of author Maurice Desmond Rohan.With the further former owner's inscription of J. Raysons to the front free endpaper.Undated; dated 1945 via Jisc. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with fading to the cloth at the back strip head and tail. Inscription to front free endpaper. Minor loss to dust wrapper back strip tail, with chipping and a significant closed tear to the back strip head. Handling marks to rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned due to paper type, otherwise clean and bright. Very Good Indeed.
