24 pp., 20 pp., 57 pp. The first three issues of the Peruvian magazine titled Literatura: Feb. and June 1958, and Aug. 1959. All three issues have appearances by the Nobel prize winning author Mario Vargas Llosa and all three are SIGNED in blue pen by Vargas Llosa on the respective front wrappers. Issue no. 2 also has an appearance by the U.S. author Paul Bowles, titled "La prensa delicada." The three issues are bound together in green boards with a black back strip with gilt stamping across; all front and back wrappers are bound in. All 3 issues have moderate oxidation particularly around the sheet edges but there is no highlighting, no underlining, and no marginalia. Issue no. 1 has the following appearance by Mario Vagas Llosa: "Nota sobre Moro." Issue no. 2 by Vargas Llosa: "Notas: Carta de amor, de Cesar Moro." Issue no. 3 by Vargas Llosa: "?Es util el sacrificio de la poesia?" All 3 issues list MVLL as "Director." A very rare set of early appearances by this Nobel Prize recipient.
