Shipping Terms:
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required, although this is usually noted within the item description. Postage will be reduced on processing for light items which can be sent via large letter rate.
UK orders wil generally be sent via Royal mail 48. Heavier books and sets may be sent via courier.
For overseas orders: Economy shipping is cheaper, reliable but will inevitably take longer than Priority mail. In our experience the great majority of parcels sent via Economy will go via Air, and arrive in a timely manner (usually 5-10 working days) but if there is no capacity on flights, or at very busy times, they may go by ship. This accounts for the extended shipping times shown.
Priority mail is faster and will always go via Airmail.
Shipping for light books with a wrapped weight of below 750g will be upgraded from Economy to Priority at our expense. Postage will be reduced on processing for light items which can be sent via large letter rate and in most cases of multiple-book orders.
Uninsured items are sent at the purchaser's risk. At present there is no tracking as standard on international mail from the UK sent via the Post Office. If you require a tracked/signed for service kindly let us know. This is generally £5 extra and will be added to the shipping cost.
