Spine darkened, spine tail splitting at joints, some soiling to cloth, contents very good, small tag glued to ffep "First edition. With inscription from the author." Inscribed on front end-paper by MacKaye to Chalmers Hadley (1872-1958), American librarian and educator, President of the American Library Association. Hadley's bookplate on front paste-down. Bookseller accession no.: RT455.
