Signed on the colophon by Hunter and Elmer Adler, the Pynson printer, small bookseller sticker on rear paste-down.Hunter, probably the greatest-ever authority on paper-making, wrote in his autobiography that this edition was printed on handmade Japanese mulberry bark paper, and the paper covers were printed from an old woodblock he found in northern Korea. (see My Life With Paper, p 128).Condition of this book:Small chip in spine, else fine. Special Limited Edition, first issue in this format. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
