Five raised bands and gilt lettering to spine. Gilt image of key to front cover. Teg. Book contained in a navy blue slipcase complete with original silk strip to help extract book from case. The whole preserved within its original cardboard case as delivered when new. Folio, 14.5ins x 10ins, marble endpapers (from a design by WRF), 265pp. Aside from the biographical text (largely written in a reminescent style) the book is superbly illustrated with examples of the authors work from all periods of his career. F in F slipcase.
