I am very pleased to offer: R.C. Gorman- the Lithographs by Doris Monthan. This large hard cover book (9 ¼ x 12 ¼ inches 170 pages) was published by the Northland Press of Flagstaff, Arizona dated 1978 and the First Edition. It is flat signed by the Artist on the half-title page. The book is bound in dark maroon cloth with a black cloth quarter spine with gilt titles; it is protected by a now well-battered pictorial dust jacket. I counted 73 plates in the List and noted that these are both b&w and color. Condition: This book is in good condition. I hesitated for a bit on whether to actually list it as the dust jacket is battered with edge wear on all sides. The magnificent art it contains and the fact that it is signed by the Artist prompted me to offer it to someone who would want to preserve it. The hard covers too are a bit faded in a narrow band along the edges where the dust jacket lets in the sunlight. The hard covers are also a bit dust-dulled. Inside the only mark I found in the book is the Artist s signature on the half-titles. The interior pages and plates are clean and bright throughout. The front hinge is cracked and the front cover, although still well attached, feels a bit loose. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. Seller Inventory # 276
