First British edition, a copy intended for export with publication information on the copyright page inked out with a black marker. Signed with a contemporary inscription by Stephen King on the title page. Near Fine with toning to pages, faint creases to front free endpaper, in a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with light shelf wear. The British edition is much more uncommon than the American. The first American edition is said to have a print run of 20,000 copies, while the general consensus is that the British consisted of less than 1,000, with many of those copies going to libraries.
