Otherwise a not too bad copy of this hard-cover book dealing with the life and times of Girolamo Savonarola, the fifteenth-century Dominican friar executed in Florence in 1498 for heresy. Signed by the author on f/ep to original owner "Edward Bullock from his friend William Clark 1890", also a later owner's name and date (1954) onthe same page. 352pp. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
