Folio. [6] 33pp. Light blue textured paper-covered boards with black lettering and illustration on paper label of cover. Out of series, limited edition. A unique copy signed by the author, composer and illustrator on limitation page. Not numbered with "This is a presentation copy for the Hospital for Sick Children," handwritten to limitation page. Contains "Down by the Pond, Sneezles, The Engineer, The Friend, Furry Bear, The Emperor's Rhyme, Cherry Stones, Wind on the Hill, Twice Times, and Cradle Song." The book was used at the hospital for many years and contains a couple of letters to and from the hospital staff. Cloth spine, administered to repair disbound copy, faded with light water-staining and rubbing of label on cover. Block starting with title page trough last page loose. Pages with small closed tears with remnants of of glossy brown tape from attempts to repair along gutter of many pages, some tears taped with same material. Block lightly age-toned. Book in disrepair but signed copy of this special presentation opy. Seller Inventory # 55399
