- first edition of this collection of posthumous theatrical recollections ( Hubbard & his second wife, Alice Moore Hubbard, died aboard the RMS Lusitania when it was sunk by a German submarine off the coast of Ireland on May 7, 1915. This copy is inscribed to a Rochester, NY Osteopathic Surgeon, " Dr. J. H. Reid " and his wife by Hubbard's son Elbert Hubbard II " in memory of their little journey to Roycroft in April 1921 " - title page and inital chapter letters are hand coloured, a rebacked copy, in good only condition, but internally fine. Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.
