SIGNED on the original front free endpaper by Philip L. Bradfer-Lawrence. Lettering addition, in pencil, "To be considerably enhanced by PHILIP L. BRADFER- LAWRENCE 1946 - " Pencil annotations and additions throughout. Quarto. pp. 96 with 111 added interleaves all numbered, many with handwritten annotations. A book in Fine condition with fascinating annotations. Philip Leslie Bradfer-Lawrence was the son of the notable antiquarian Harry Bradfer-Lawrence, and himself a member of the Roxburghe Club. During the Second World War he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Royal Engineers and was awarded the Military Cross for crossing the Arno in Italy. O'Brien E119.

We offer a standard delivery charge and insurance to all mainland UK addresses of £4.00 unless the weight of the parcel exceeds 2kg, when the charge will be the actual cost.
Delivery charges outside the United Kingdom
The charge for packing, insurance and delivery of a single book outside the UK is as follows:
To destinations in Europe: £15 plus £2 for each extra item up to a total weight of 2kg. Heavier items are charged at cost.
To destinations in North America and To destinations in the Rest of World: £25 plus £2 forveach extra item up to a total weight of 2kg. Heavier items are charged at cost.
Delivery methods and periods
We will usually use Royal Mail / Parcel Force or a courier.
We will dispatch books within 48 hours of cleared payment, with the expectation that, they will be delivered (a) within the UK no later than 48 hours thereafter
(b) overseas, as soon as possible having regard to local postal/courier services.
The delivery periods are indicative only, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, we do not guarantee delivery before the end of the stated period.
