A superb, fine, small press edition of Edgar Allan Poe's masterly Tales & Poems. Handbound in 2025, and quickly out-of-print, this exceptional edition is very much destined for collector rarity, I suspect, and was published by Nepenthe Press. With a tiny, exclusive print run of just 376 copies in total, each exquisite book has been illustrated, designed, and typeset by Elijah John. This is the "signed and numbered" format (151-350) and was issued signed by all three of the contributors to the limitation page. The result is a celebration of fine press printing, and features 12 captivating full page illustrations and line drawings by the artist Elijah John. Offset printed, this limited edition book also features a sewn binding, head and tail bands, and a promotional matching bookmark. All in all, an immaculate and striking edition of the classic stories and poems and one that is likely to grow into a collectable Poe indeed. The dimensions are approx. 17cm x 24.5cm and this heavy, stylish book commands some serious shelf presence. A great Poe edition.
