Presentation copy to "To Eddie Gilbert/Congratulations/and all good wishes/Edgar Rice Burroughs/Tarzana/August 12, 1935" Gilbert was a close friend to Burroughs and the brother of Burroughs 2nd wife and silent film actress Florence Gilbert. Stated First Edition. No bumped corners to book. No cracked hinges. Light chipping to top of jackets spine. First issue jacket/laminated. Includes a original b/w photograph of Burroughs.
