Add to basket8vo. 256pp. Blue cloth-covered boards in bright unclipped dust-jacket. Flat-signed by the author on title page. A note from a member of the Bourdillon family (possibly the author's mother-in-law, Harriett Bourdillon) is laid in; a tape ghost is visible on rear free endpaper where it was previously attached. 1964 press clipping about Tenzing Norgay taped on copyright page. Jennifer Bourdillon was the wife of Tom Bourdillon, a member of the 1953 British Mount Everest Expedition. This is her account of living among the Sherpas in 1952 while Tom Bourdillon participated in the failed British expedition to Cho Oyu.
