Laid in are items of correspondence addressed to Maria Antonia FIeld on mourning stationary of the Spanish royal family (see images). Maria Antonia FIeld was herself descendant from the old Spanish era in California whose family once possessed Ranchos of great size in Central and Southern California Some staining to spine and smudges to boards, else very good.
