First edition. Signed by the author. Limited edition. Publisher's original Carlos Schwabe illustrated cloth with silver titles to the black cloth spine. Green ribbon page marked. Full page colour frontispiece repeating the cover illustration. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without previous owners' inscription or stamps. Issued in a limited edition of 250 copies, this example is numbered 42 and signed by John Farris in red ink on the colophon. A bizarre welding of suspense novel, love story and detective story, with a generous portion of physics, biology, time travel, and Nicolai Tesla thrown in for good measure.
