Oblong book size about 11 1/2 by 9 inches with some 124 pages. Bound in black cloth with front cover and spine gilt lettering. In the original unpriced dust wrapper. Foreword by Pete Fountain. Illustrated with numerous images by Golden in color and black/white (Black/white predominates). INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE ARTIST AND AUTHOR INSIDE AT THE FRONT AND DATED DECEMBER, 1970. Laid-in is a four page printed brochure re: The Southern Governors' Conference - Featuring the Paintings of Rolland Golden. Rear dust wrapper flap promotes 'Bryant Galleries' of New Orleans, 'exclusive representative for Rolland Golden'. Inside rear cover at the bottom is a printed label: Registered No. 514. Book with slight wear; gilt a bit dulled. Wrapper with light edge wear; several tiny edge tears. NEAR FINE/VERY GOOD.
