An impressive production, being a virtual encyclopedia of the history of American business with chapters on banking, imports and exports, Wall Street, insurance, ship-building, the telegraph, horticulture, railroads, printing, and many other aspects of American commerce, one hundred in all, with engraved photos of the authors of the articles, all of whom were outstanding in their respective fields.
