A three catalogue set written in German, English and Chinese. "The catalogue, using words and pictures, gives a brief summary of the development of video art since the beginnings in 1963." It includes short monographs of individual participating artists and a bibliography. The third catalogue entitled, "Art and Electronics" is a program presented at the Hong Kong Arts Festival, and signed, "To DoDo and for DoDo only", most likely by cinematographer Uwe Nitschke, who wrote the forward as a member of the European Working Group for Culture. The exhibition in Hong Kong, .'provides a wealth of information and stimuli for all artists.So that a dialogue can result from this, a number of artists from Europe and Hong Kong have declared their willingness to conduct seminars and workshops in conjunction with the exhibition."
