Add to basketHardcover. No Dust Jacket. 7th Printing, 1969. Inscribed & signed by the author. 8vo (5.5 x 8.25 in.). Features an unusual construction, a horizontal-style quarter-bound cover of black and red cloth. On the spine "black" is over red, "and Free" is red over black. It is in nice condition, clean with no scratches and sharp corners. Author's signature and dedication are on the reverse of the front free endpaper which, unfortunately has corner turn-downs at top and bottom. The binding is solid and the pages are clean. Four pages do have straightened corner turn-downs. This book was widely read at the time as the author addressed the "Negro Problem" with Christian perspective.
