1978 reprint of first edition (1959). In olive green cloth covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. 280pp, with numerous line drawings by John Ward. Signed by Laurie Lee on the dedication page. 8vo. Cloth a little bruised at ends of a mildly sunned spine. Spotted on upper text block edge. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust wrapper, just mildly bumpoed along upper edge and hint of rub on corners, spine moderately faded. Dust jacket now protected an in archival-quality Mylar wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. A very nice copy. Seller Inventory # 026738
