Duck parody of Judge Dredd [original art]

Piece of original art by UK artist Fangborn, one of a series of seven he produced. I bought six of the seven myself from Dave Holmes of Andromeda Bookshop in Birmingham, many, many years ago (Dave said the other had already sold to Mel Gibson, but you had to take everything Dave told you with a pinch of salt). All featured a Donald Duck type character posing as famous comic/film characters, the three I have left (I sold three of them a few years back) are of Indiana Jones (I think), Judge Dread and Batman. This one is Judge Dredd. Framed and matted (19cm x 17cm) and signed by Fangorn. Working name of British artist Christopher Baker, also known by his pseudonym Fangorn. ''He first garnered a reputation for painting book covers, mostly Fantasy novels by Robert Asprin and Brian Jacques (1939-2011); he was also the artist for two Graphic Novels based on novels by David Gemmell and Stan Nicholls. However, after being hired by Stanley Kubrick to work on his planned film A.I.: Artificial Intelligence (2001), he stayed with the project when Steven Spielberg took over and has since worked mostly for films, including The Time Machine (2002), War of the Worlds (2005), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), and Alice in Wonderland (2010)'' (Encyclopedia of SF, 4th Edition).…
