Fine, sharp boards are complemented by a superb, tight spotless spine and clean pages which are, however, tanning, and whose upper edge is home to five small, low profile brown freckles.The glossy, unclipped dust-jacket is clean and devoid of tears, but there are 2 or 3 horizontal wrinkles along the dw rear panel's upper edge and there is truly minimal wear of the dw's corner tips. At the time of 60s superstar Janis Joplin's death in 1970, the author, Seth Morgan was her fianc� and lover. He lived a life of sex and drugs and rock 'n' roll and found himself incarcerated for a spell. He died in 1990 in a motorcycle accident, the year his first and only - but very well received - novel was published.
