Chipped glassine wrapper has protected the cover. Signed by Berne Porter on the publisher's note, also numbered in back. Includes a signed postcard from Miller to Emil White in Big Sur California: " Dear Emil--Sent myself a bag of dirty laundry from Fredericksburg--parcel post. Would you give it in to the laundry for me please. Leaving here Wednesday, due in Boulder Saturday. Just wondering if any of the missing mss. Bern is looking for are at George Leite's by chance. The whole thing is absolutely mysterious to me. Hope you have solved it. Best to everyone. Henry." Front cover has browed edges at top and bottom, very slight bend at bottom. Stamped number on flylead. Back flyleaf has the shadow of a library card holder. Pages are clean. Inventory #000356. Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.

We also serve as a Community Resource and Archival Center serving audiences of all ages. We are creating Museo de La Gente, a community archival resource center that preserves the history, culture, literature, art, music, foodways and folkways of the Borderland region. We host year-long workshops, readings, and arts events for the borderland, national and international community. We believe we can heal the world, one book, one cup of coffee, and one story at a time. In addition to books, we sell folk art, Mexican lobby cards and posters, vintage vinyl and cultural memorabilia in our historic adobe dating from the 1850s.
