162 pp. Stated third printing, January 1968. Scarce SIGNED copy of the late 1960's children's book classic. Signed by author on page preceding half title page. Minor shelf and handling wear. Colorful bookplate of previous owner affixed to ffep. Small upper corner of at least two pages dog-ear creased. Mild soiling/toning to top of text block. Head and foot of spine and corners and edges of boards gently bumped/rubbed. Moderate sun-fading and slight lean to spine. Light soiling and edge wear to unclipped dust jacket (see photos); original bookseller's (Kroch's & Brentano's) price sticker affixed to rear panel of dust jacket.
