[unpaginated]; 4.7 x 12.6 x 2.5 cm.; black-and-white & color; edition size 550; signed and numbered; offset-printed Multiple in the form of an appropriated commercial felt blackboard eraser. Erasers were purchased in bulk from New York Blackboard, Inc, located at 139 Spring Street in New York City, a few blocks away from Ronald Feldman's gallery. (139 Spring Street today is occupied by a Chanel boutique.) Text rubber stamped on label "ORGANIZATION FOR DIRECT DEMOCRACY THROUGH REFERENDUM INFORMATION CENTER 4 DUSSELDORF ANDREASTRASSE, 25 [illegible] 39." "Beuys had the idea for the edition at a political lecture he held during his first trip to the United States.
