Decorative borders stamped in black on front cover and in blind on rear. In very good condition. Binding is firm and square; pages are crisp, clean, and bright. Slight splitting to hingepapers but text-block remains securely bound. Private library stamp on front pastedown opposite the author's inscription, otherwise unmarked. Minor rubbing to extremities. Gilt remains sharp and bright. A very handsome copy overall, now protected in a custom-made clear archival dustwrapper.
