Alfredo Antognini was born in Bueno Aires, Argentina in 1938. He studied at the School of Fine Arts and he graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in drawing in 1971 and painting in 1974, He was a teacher of painting in the studio of the Argentinan sculptor Aurelio Macchi. He also holds a Ph.D in philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires. He and his wife moved to San Diego, California in1977. He has had numerous exibitions in the San Diego area and his works are included in the holdings of several local collectors. His works have also been exhibited internationally in Paris and Buenos Aires.
