Synopsis
Within the pages of this book are the lessons and insights learned from difficult journeys through pain. When you read, you will discover you are not alone. You will find perspective that will infuse you with hope. You will be bombarded with biblical truths that will help you remember God is in control. You will be equipped with spiritual exercises. You will leave anger and bitterness in your wake. The goal of the book is two part: (one) to provide safe passage through the valleys of your life and (two) to secure a meaningful realization of your dependent relationship with God. This is a unique book. As you read this book, God will use it to meet you at the point of your need. Section 1 is an Allegory. It helps the reader recognize God's design for life as being eternal. Once this realization is embraced, the difficulties of this life fall into proper perspective. Section 2 is a series of Bible Studies that deal with the bonds you have with God when you are traveling through difficulties. Each of the eight chapters use scripture passages to bring revolutionary insight. Old Testament characters are employed to bring understanding to truths that transform your perspective. For example, Noah helps you understand trust. Joseph deals with contentment. If you are presently experiencing pain in your life, begin reading from Section 2. Section 3 is Short Stories that provide truth in an engaging literary form. Within a few pages you are provided with an inspiring and enlightening experience.
About the Author
Moses Caesar was born in Bangalore, India. At the age of seven, Moses immigrated to Wichita Falls, Texas with his parents and two siblings. Wichita Falls was an amazing place to experience a classic childhood. He mowed yards in the neighborhood, threw a paper route, and enjoyed many wonderful friendships. During this time in his life, he says his spiritual development had many influences: church, neighbors and mentors. He tells everyone that the church taught him about God, his parents taught him to fear God, and the Boy’s Club taught him about life. Moses received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Midwestern State University. While in college, he served in various ministry positions as a volunteer or employee: bus ministry, college ministry, Campus Student Ministry, and church recreation ministry. Moses attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Masters of Divinity. While attending SWBTS, Moses served as Minister to Youth and College in Texas. Moses also, attended Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Doctor of Ministry. During this time, Moses served as Youth and College Pastor and Campus Pastor in California. Moses then served as Director of Spiritual Development at a University in Mobile. He now serves on a church staff in Germantown, TN. He has preached at youth camps, churches, and led conferences and seminars.
