Add to basketUtrecht, 1781, oblong 49 x 30 cm, parchment, framed (82 x 62 cm), faded ink so difficult to read, embossed paper seal (waardezegel), 6 damaged wax seals (lakzegels) showing heraldic weapons. l Dutch handwritten agreement concerning the lease of lands around Manor House Amelisweerd (Bunnik, Utrecht, buitenplaats). The contract is made out to Sir Maximiliaan (jonkheer) and all his heirs or descendants. It concerns a sum of more than 15 guilders (15 gulden en 9 stuivers). According to the text the agreement has been made in twofold and both documents have been provided with paper and wax seals. This document is signed by Vermeer (secretary) and M.C. Waazz (?) van Lexmond (dean) on February 5th 1781. Other names that come to pass: Maria Jacoba Cornelia (Countess of Efferen), Hendrick de Sainte Simon Marquis de Sandricourt, Sir Hendrick van Utenhove (Lord of Amelisweerd), Evrard Klaasz (notary), Maurits Carel (Baron of ? (illegible) and Lord of Battenstein, father to Sir Maximiliaan). Today Amelisweerd is known as New Amelisweerd and it is home to several individual residents forming a foundation called Experimentele Leefgemeenschap Nieuw Amelisweerd.
