8vo. Volume I. pp. [6], 304. Volume II. pp. [6], 290. Bound in publisher s green cloth. Volume II is re-backed preserving the original spine; the gilt letters "vo" in vol. are lacking on the spine; inner hinges are neatly strengthened. The boards to volume II are faded and well worn. Both volumes contain rubbing, wear and spots of discoloration to the extremities; some small professional cloth repairs are present to the spine caps, the edges, the outer hinges, and the corner tips. End papers are browned and inner-hinges neatly strengthened; Inner pages appear generally clean but with occasional mild marginal chipping, staining, wear and miniscule marginal tears. Several corner tip creases and spots of corner tip chipping are present. The upper corner of the text block to volume I is lightly bumped. In volume II the upper corner tips to both front and rear fly-leaves are repaired; the bottom corner and lower outer edge of the half title is creased and worn; a 6 cm tear in the bottom margin of p. 109 is professionally sealed.
