Boards heavily scuffed; spine dry and chipped; corners chipped. Lacking the FFEP; some browning and dust-smudging throughout (usually marginal, and not infringing upon legibility); 1 plate a bit soiled, and wrinkled along the edges; another plate heavily damaged and torn. An engraved plate published 1783, showing costumes of Europe, Asia, Africa, and America, has been mounted to rear paste-down. Ok, so it's shabby, but it's also rather scarce. Sold as is.
