12mo. 54p. Limited edition, 1 of 350 copies printed. Edited by Edmund Goldsmid, F.R.H.S. Bound in period red cloth with some wear and spotting. The rear board contains a dent. Remnants of a paper label are pasted to the spine (perhaps taken from the original wrapper?) Initials and a number are penned in very faint thin red letters on the upper margin of the title page. A hexagram is lightly stamped in the lower margin of p. 7. A tiny spot is present on the upper edges of pp. 22-23. Pages are otherwise crisp and clean. This small treatise is attributed to one Christianus Pazig (c. 1700). Chapter I contains some general statements about magic. A small treatise discussing the nature of magic, the origin and object of incantations, and the powers of words. Bookseller Inventory # 000614
