Since 1979 the University College (UC) Book Sale has been making out-of-print, used, hard-to-find and rare books available at reasonable prices. Every year over 100,000 donated items pass through the Book Sale workrooms where our volunteers from various academic and professional backgrounds check and evaluate all incoming items. Our internet listings are academically-oriented with an emphasis on the unusual, uncommon and rare rather than on textbooks. We also operate The Book Shop at UC, open weekdays: http://www.uc.utoronto.ca/book-shop [TEMPORARY closure from summer 2018, but see below for alternative arrangements]. In mid-October, at our annual sale in the College, we offer 80,000 or more books. We will bring books from our Abebooks inventory to the Book Shop for examination or purchase (48 hours advance notice please); while the Book Shop is closed, other arrangements may be made by request to email@example.com. Shipping costs will be refunded to purchasers able to pick up books on campus. Proceeds from the UC Book Sale's operations go to students and to the University College Library.
We offer a selection of academic mathematics books in this catalog and in our Science and Mathematics catalog.

Our French language listings are primarily academic and have recently been augmented from the generous libraries of several French academics.
