About this Item

The authors followed Ted Williams, the manager of the Washington Senators around for a year, to learn what a manager's job is really all about. Has some great black and white photographs of Williams in the batting cage, as well as Senators' players Jim Hannan, Barry Moore, Frank Howard, Dick Bosman, Casey Cox, Mike Epstein, Ken McMullen, Ed Stroud and others. Red boards, with a black and white photo of Williams and third baseman Ken McMullen on the front cover. Very good- condition, seldom seen in this NON ex-library edition. This book has become very difficult to find in a NON ex-library copy. Roy Hoopes had done similiar books on What a United States Senator Does and What The President Does All Day. I have many other books on managers and owners in stock. Discounts available on multiple purchases. Bookseller Inventory # ABE-131640998
