About the Bookseller

Yesterday's Book Shop is a family owned business established in 1975. We were originally known as the Collector's Corner which first started in 1966, which dealt with a variety of collectibles - including books, stamps and ephemera. The family's collecting actually started all the way back to the 1930's when my father was just a boy. Whenever he came across a unique or interesting book it would be carefully packed away for his "future depository". In 2003 the business was turned over to his son who moved the business online.

Terms of Sale

All items pictured for sale are for the actual book or product. We never use generic or stock photos. In the case of duplicate items that are close to the same condition we choose the worst for the images and always ship the best ones first.

Shipping Terms

Purchases will typically ship by US Media Mail and higher priced items will ship insured. Non-US sales typically go by US Global Priority Mail though First Class may be used in certain circumstances. Orders usually ship within one business day. Shipping costs listed are for books weighing 5 lbs or less and are shipped by US media mail. Additional postage may be required for multiple volume books or books weighing over 5 lbs., but only in unusual cases. Insurance is available upon request though we normally place insurance on any item of $75 or higher at no additional cost to the buyer.

We always take extra care in packaging and shipping. Books are typically wrapped in packing paper or bubblewrap before packaged in the shipping box. All orders, even those shipped by US Media Mail, will be given a USPS tracking number which will be sent to the buyer so they will know when to expect arrival.

PAYPAL PAYMENTS WILL ONLY BE SHIPPED TO VERIFIED ADDRESSES. We cannot ship PayPal orders to third parties as they must be shipped to the address assigned to the account that made the payment.
