About the Author:
ANGELA McROBBIE has written on young women and popular culture for many years. She is Professor of Communication at Goldsmiths College and the author of Postmodernism and Popular Culture, British Fashion Design: Rag Trade or Image Industry and In the Culture Society: Art, Fashion, Music.
