About the Author:
Dr. McIvor received his cardiology training at John Hopkins Hospital, and was a Medical Staff Fellow at the National Institutes of Health. He went into private practice in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1989, where he pursued his research interests and produced more than fify publications in medical journals. D. McIvor established the first comprehensive outpatient treatment program for heart failure patients in the St. Petersburg area.
