Dr Kurt-Martin Strack is president of KMS Technologies specialising in consulting in borehole geophysics and advanced technologies. Kurt worked for Western Atlas where he was responsible for developing numerous new logging tools. He obtained his MSc at the Colorado School of Mines and a PhD at the University of Cologne. Over the past twenty years Kurt has worked as a geophysical consultant, as a university researcher and teacher, and as R&D manager in the geothermal and logging industry. Kurt has over 100 publications, one textbook and several patents. His main interests are in integrated geophysics, inversion, technology transfer and project development.
