From its opening paragraph to its concluding almanac, this handbook examines the writing process today from the perspective of writers, young and old, learning new roles and reaching new audiences. The style is energetic and witty, the advice fresh and contemporary, the design ground-breaking. SF Writer/3E continues its reinvention of the tabbed/spiral bound writing handbook. It retains its ground-breaking emphasis on visual rhetoric, while offering fuller coverage of the writing process and various genres of writing. Topics covered include: working as a writer, shaping language, presenting your writing, writing arguments, research, documentation, understanding grammar, and understanding punctuation and mechanics. With its handy format and comprehensive scope of material (including the latest information in writing for the Web) this is the perfect desk reference for anyone that needs to write effectively for business or personal use.
