About the Author:
Robert Ellwood is Emeritus Professor of Religion at the University of Southern California and Goodwin-Philpott Eminent Scholar in Religion at Auburn University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, and he has written a number of books, including The Cross and the Grail; Many Peoples, Many Faiths; and The Pilgrim Self.
