About the Author:

Margaret Murphy is the author of eight novels, all concerned with both the violent criminal and the victim of crime. Her first, Goodnight My Angel, was shortlisted for the First Blood award for debut crime novels. Her novels are published in the United Kingdom. and in translation across Europe.
A graduate in environmental biology, Margaret has been a countryside ranger, biology teacher, and dyslexia tutor. After gaining a master's degree in writing, she taught creative writing for the Open College of the Arts, and is Consultant Tutor for the MA in Writing at Liverpool John Moore's University. Margaret is the founding member of Murder Squad and an active member of the Crime Writers' Association. She reviews crime fiction and is an occasional contributor to UK Radio 4's The Message. She lives on the Wirral Peninsula in England.
